One begins to feel a proprietary interest in stars and heavenly bodies one puts in one’s books. To me, for example, Iota Draconis has a very special place in my heart, because I did research on it, and set a scene there, and likewise for Eta Carinae in the Homounculus Nebula.
However, I have never taken it to this extreme. I found this because I was looking up the star in question, one of the largest known:

Technically, his name is 2MASS J04551048-6820298. It is found in the Tarantula Nebula in the Greater Magellanic Cloud.
