Dems Offended and Emotionally Shaken by War Hero

Second Amendment speech on Floor of Virginia House of Delegates 3-5-2018. by combat vet and Delegate Nick Freitas causes Democrat walkout.

This man won as a write in candidate, after insider shenanigans in Virginia kept Republicans off the ballots in many counties.

Does this Delegate know about guns?

Nick Freitas served with the 82nd Airborne Division and 25th Light Infantry Division as an Infantryman. Following the terror attack on September 11 2001, Nick volunteered for US Army Special Forces (Green Berets) and eventually served 2 tours in Iraq as a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant and Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant.

So …. yes. I would say a Special Forces Weapons Sergeant might know a thing or two about guns.

Please listen to the whole thing. Ask yourself what, specifically, he is saying that is so intolerable, so contemptible, that he must be denied the courtesy of being heard by his fellow elected representatives.

Here’s a link to an article on the Dem walkout and aftermath.

Friday’s speech by Freitas before the Virginia House of Delegates lead to many Democrats actually walking out and demanding a recess so that they could calm down because they were so outraged.

The Washington Post reports that after Democrats settled down, Del. Joseph Lindsey (D-Norfolk) told the House that “today, I have been offended as I can never recall since being a part of this body. And I have seen many of my colleagues emotionally shaken and bothered by either a lack of concern for facts or just simply playing to the cameras, I don’t know which.”

Hmm. By saying that the honorable gentleman is “playing to the camera”, Joe levels a false accusation against the opponent’s motive, in order to answer a speech calling for civility and an absence of false accusations against the motives of others.

How quaint. How perfectly symmetrical.

Who is this Joe Lindsay? What does he know about guns?

Joe Lindsey is an attorney, holding a BA in Political Science from the Hampton Institute. He attended American University’s Washington School of Law. He is a a personal injury, family law, criminal defense, and business attorney.

As a Delegate, Lindsey supported legislation to end unlawful discriminatory housing practices. He also supported numerous gun violence prevention bills. Delegate Lindsey is an avid supporter of reproductive rights…

Hmm … So he wants to control to whom you sell or rent housing, wants to disarm you, and wants the unborn babies dead.

Please read the column and note where and when our elected representatives here in the Commonwealth of Virginia act like gentlemen, and when they act like hysterical and emotional little brats who should have been spanked more often as children.

Then ponder what a real Virginia gentleman has to say on the topic:
