Trump rules churches ‘essential,’ says they can reopen this weekend
Trump said, ‘I will override the governors’ if they stop houses of worship from reopening
President Trump announced Friday he’s deemed churches, synagogues, mosques and other houses of worship to be “essential places that provide essential services” that can reopen this weekend.
Trump said during a brief news conference he had directed the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to issue guidance for faith communities to safely reopen from the coronavirus pandemic.
My comment: As someone who, during the first 42 years of my existence, encountered little or no discourtesy, contempt, betrayal, insult, libel or hatred, but who became exposed to such things immediately …. And I mean within a day … upon my conversion, I can assure you the antichristians are not even aware of all the little signs of contempt and hatred which flow from them weekly, daily, or with every breath.
Those that are aware of the hatred are apparently not aware of the cause. My attitude, rhetoric, and mein toward, for example, sodomites, or Jews, or Muslims has not changed one iota since my conversion, except, if anything, to be gentler and more sympathetic than I once was, or to admire them more.
And yet, oddly, only after I became a Christian was I ever accused of being a homophobe, an antisemite, an islamophobe, and so on…and on a fairly routine basis, and always by strangers who have no right to be offended with me.
Well, simple enough. No stranger hates me. They hate Him. I was warned. No surprises.
But it is a surprise to have a White House that,unlike the press, unlike Hollywood, unlike the publishing industry and academia and Big Tech, is not bigoted against Christ.
