Not Tired of Winning Yet CXXXI

If you heard the President’s speeches over the Independence Day weekend, he has signed an executive order to create a commission to build thirty statues or more to honor American heroes from all walks of life, all races, both sexes.

The first thirty will include monuments to John Adams, Susan B. Anthony, Clara Barton, Daniel Boone, Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, Henry Clay, Davy Crockett, Frederick Douglass, Amelia Earhart, Benjamin Franklin, Billy Graham, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, Martin Luther King, Jr., Abraham Lincoln, Douglas MacArthur, Dolly Madison, James Madison, Christa McAuliffe, Audie Murphy, George S. Patton, Jr., Ronald Reagan, Jackie Robinson, Betsy Ross, Antonin Scalia, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Harriet Tubman, Booker T. Washington, George Washington, and Orville and Wilbur Wright.

Obviously a statue to the Wright brothers should overshadow the rest, and be the center of all attention, made of finer materials, and larger. It should be half a mile high and made of a radioactive isotope of Unobtainium, so that the eerie aura of their magnificence can be seen from afar. Their contribution, the gift of flight, is so patently greater than any other possible human accomplishment that the Wrights merit additional praise, not to mention the beauty, grace and sonorous quality of their last name.

One thing not mentioned in Mr Trump’s speeches, but which is in the Executive Order, is aid to rebuilding the marred monuments desecrated by the anarchists. It is a fitting reply, as is severe legal punishments for discovered ringleaders and participants.
