The Administration has begun the fight to eliminate hateful pinko propaganda from our school system.

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-white-house-conference-american-history/

Critical race theory, the 1619 Project, and the crusade against American history is toxic propaganda, ideological poison that, if not removed, will dissolve the civic bonds that tie us together. It will destroy our country.

That is why I recently banned trainings in this prejudiced ideology from the federal government and banned it in the strongest manner possible.

The only path to national unity is through our shared identity as Americans. That is why it is so urgent that we finally restore patriotic education to our schools.

Under our leadership, the National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded a grant to support the development of a pro-American curriculum that celebrates the truth about our nation’s great history.

Today, I am also pleased to announce that I will soon sign an Executive Order establishing a national commission to promote patriotic education. It will be called the “1776 Commission.” It will encourage our educators to teach our children about the miracle of American history and make plans to honor the 250th anniversary of our founding.

Mr Trump is really, really trying to keep his campaign promise that we would be tired of the winning.

Well, I simply cannot keep up with the winning. This is from half a week ago.

President Trump is ordering the federal government to begin the process of removing federal funds from four Democrat run cities where officials condoned riots and cut police budgets amid rising violent crime: New York City, Washington DC, Seattle, and Portland.

Trump signed a memo ordering all federal agencies to send reports to the White House Office of Management and Budget to specify which funds can lawfully be withheld or redirected.

New York City gets about $7 billion a year in federal aid. That is billion with a B. The idea is simple: if you defund your police, we defund you.

“My Administration will not allow Federal tax dollars to fund cities that allow themselves to deteriorate into lawless zones,” Trump states in the Memo.

“To ensure that Federal funds are neither unduly wasted nor spent in a manner that directly violates our Government’s promise to protect life, liberty, and property, it is imperative that the Federal Government review the use of Federal funds by jurisdictions that permit anarchy, violence, and destruction in America’s cities.”

The memorandum can be read HERE.

Trump is keeping a promise he made during the Mount Rushmore speech. Russ Vought, director of the Office of Management and Budget, announced that the days of taxpayer-funded indoctrination that sow division and racism are over.

According to the text of the memo sent out by the Office of Management and Budget:

All agencies are directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on “critical race theory,” “white privilege,” or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either (1) that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or (2) that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.

“The divisive, false, and demeaning propaganda of the critical race theory movement is contrary to all we stand for as Americans and should have no place in the Federal government,” concludes the memo.

The full memo can be read HERE

My comment: Up your nose, 1619 Project.

Trump promised during his campaign that we would get tired of winning, that we would cry out, “It is too much! I cannot take all this winning!”

Well, it is true. So much winning is happening, that I cannot keep up.

Here are some stories I’ve missed in recent days and weeks:

This is not an example of Trump keeping a campaign promise, but it is an example of a victory for MAGA (Make America Great Again) over TAGA (Trash America Gratuitously Again).

From Fox News:

The Washington Post is the latest news organization to settle a defamation lawsuit launched by Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann over its botched coverage [sic.] of a viral confrontation with a Native American elder [sic.] that had portrayed the Kentucky teen as the aggressor.

Sandmann announced the victory on Twitter.

“On 2/19/19, I filed $250M defamation lawsuit against Washington Post. Today, I turned 18 & WaPo settled my lawsuit. Thanks to @ToddMcMurtry & @LLinWood for their advocacy. Thanks to my family & millions of you who have stood your ground by supporting me.”

It also happened to be the young man’s birthday.

The Attorney General has made an announcement. The words below are his.

Operation Legend

Today, Attorney General William P. Barr announced the launch of Operation Legend, a sustained, systematic and coordinated law enforcement initiative across all federal law enforcement agencies working in conjunction with state and local law enforcement officials to fight the sudden surge of violent crime, beginning in Kansas City, MO.  Operation Legend was created as a result of President Trump’s promise to assist America’s cities that are plagued by recent violence.

Defund the Left

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-threatens-to-remove-tax-exempt-status-of-universities-and-school-systems

President Trump on Friday said he is telling the Treasury Department to look into the tax-exempt status and the funding of “universities and school systems” over alleged left-wing bias, saying that children should not be “indoctrinated.”

“Too many Universities and School Systems are about Radical Left Indoctrination, not Education,” Trump said in a pair of tweets. “Therefore, I am telling the Treasury Department to re-examine their Tax-Exempt Status… and/or Funding, which will be taken away if this Propaganda or Act Against Public Policy continues. Our children must be Educated, not Indoctrinated!”

From https://www.ncregister.com/daily-news/supreme-court-upholds-religious-freedom-for-little-sisters-of-the-poor

In a 7-2 decision, the high court in Little Sisters of the Poor v. Pennsylvania  made it abundantly clear that the federal government has the authority to guard against the Affordable Care Act’s “contraceptive mandate” trampling the rights of religious objectors. Put simply, this means that religious employers will not be forced to supply their women employees with abortion pills that kill unborn life.

A reader with the singular yet egressive name of Exit Only writes:

J.K. Rowling, Bari Weiss and Noam Chomsky Among Dozens to Sign Open Letter Calling for End to Cancel Culture

The letter addressed the nationwide Black Lives Matter protests and calls to defund the police — acknowledging that the demands are over due while warning against cancel culture and being intolerant of differences.

“But this needed reckoning has also intensified a new set of moral attitudes and political commitments that tend to weaken our norms of open debate and toleration of differences in favor of ideological conformity,” the letter reads. “The democratic inclusion we want can be achieved only if we speak out against the intolerant climate that has set in on all sides.”

https://www.mediaite.com/ne…

A samples of Twitter responses:

Ian Miles Cheong Replying to @Harpers
“I see only a collection of spineless liberals who never spoke out when cancel culture came for conservatives but now express concern when it’s affecting the intelligentsia. And how do they respond? With mild chiding, as if the far left are children to be scolded.”

Dave Rubin@RubinReport replies:
“Hilariously ridiculous. And several people on there who have tried to cancel me personally. The weakness of liberalism is totally out in the open.”

The letter as posted to Harper’s is here: https://harpers.org/a-letter-on-justice-and-open-debate/

From Fox News:

Vandal Jason Charter was arrested at his residence Thursday morning, without incident, and charged with destruction of federal property. He was arrested by the FBI and U.S. Park Police as part of a joint task force.

Law enforcement sources reveal that Charter has connections to Antifa and was a ringleader organizing the mob on the night of June 22 when a group of barbarians tried to pull down the statue of president Andrew Jackson, founder of the Democrat Party, in Lafayette Square near the White House.

Leftwing mayors and governors have betrayed their oaths of office by withdrawing the rule of law from their jurisdictions, and abandonning their citizens to vandals, rioters, murderers, and looters. It is a pleasure to see the Federal government doing what it can do, within the limitations of federalism, to ameliorate the anarchy and evil promoted by the Democrats.

In a related story, pro-BLM fanatic Jesse K. Taggart, 33, of Salt Lake City, was arrested Tuesday night on suspicion of attempted murder, aggravated assault and other charges. He was arrested on suspicion of shooting a motorist who was attempting slowly to drive through barbarians blocking traffic in Provo during a rally allegedly decrying alleged police brutality.

Meanwhile: the Department of Homeland Security is deploying special federal units to protect certain statues and monuments over Independence Day from Democrats and other domestic terrorists.

My hope is that law and order is slowly being restored. The Dems are asking you to consider voting for them this November, if you approve of atheism, racism, arson, bloodshed, rape, child-rape, murder, child-murder, looting, desecration, ugliness, despotism, anarchy, and satanic hate, and would like to see more of it in this continent.

This year’s campaign slogan has not been selected yet. The short list includes:

  1. “Planned Parenthood! Proudly Butchering Black Babies since 1916!”
  2. “Jeffry Epstein killed himself! So did David Dorn!”
  3. “Loot the One Percent! Get All Your News from the One Percent!”
  4. “Abolish Guns — the Police Will Protect You!” and “Abolish the Police!”
  5. “We Hate This Nation — Put Us in Charge of Her!”
  6. “Christ is Racist!”

These bumper stickers will encourage voters to rush to the polls.

The great Democrat Party experiment in anarcho-despotism of the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone has resulted, as all such experiments do, in death and destruction.  The White House Press Valkyrie McEnany issued a statement. The words below are hers:

Kayleigh McEnany: So I am pleased to inform everyone that Seattle has been liberated. The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, otherwise known as “CHAZ” — I think they switched their name to “CHOP,” but I’m told they went back to “CHAZ” — was a failed four-week Democrat experiment by the radical left. And the results are in: Anarchy is anti-American, law and order is essential, peace in our streets will be secured.

While the Democrat mayor of Seattle proclaimed that CHAZ was to be, quote, “the summer of love,” in fact, it was not. And other failed Democrat politicians also remained passive, or even silent, in the face of anarchy. But while that happened, President Trump set the tone: Law and order must prevail to preserve peace in our streets.

The President is not the Democrat governor of the state of Washington. The President is not the Democrat mayor of Seattle. But, nevertheless, the President must lead by example and be prepared to act in the face of failed Democrat leadership, which is what we saw in Democrat Seattle and Democrat Wisconsin.

President Trump has always stood on the side of law and order, and we are pleased to report that law and order has prevailed, and Seattle has been liberated from the anarchists.

From the White House press release. Another campaign promise fulfilled. I recite only certain of the talking points here. The words below are theirs’.

President Donald J. Trump is replacing the outdated North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) with the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

  • Today, President Trump is signing his historic USMCA deal, making good on his promise to deliver fairer and more reciprocal trade for the American people.
  • USMCA has the potential to create nearly 600,000 jobs and generate up to $235 billion in economic activity.
  • Under the agreement, Canada has agreed to expand market access for American dairy, egg, and poultry producers.
    • The agreement is expected to grow annual dairy exports by nearly $315 million.
  • American wheat growers will have access to a more level playing field.
    • Thanks to this deal, Canada will finally give fair treatment to American-grown wheat.
  • USMCA includes innovative provisions to incentivize new investments in the American auto industry and support high-paying jobs for American auto workers.
    • New wage and rules of origin requirements included in the agreement will put American autoworkers on a level playing field with workers from other countries.
  • USMCA is expected to create up to 76,000 new auto jobs, spur $34 billion in new investment in the auto industry, and add $23 billion in auto parts purchases annually.
  • USMCA contains new protections for American intellectual property, ensuring strong, effective protection for American innovators and creators.
  • Included in USMCA is a first-of-its-kind chapter on digital trade, which the decades-old NAFTA was never updated to address.
    • The digital trade provisions included in this agreement will foster economic growth and innovation for years to come.
  • USMCA includes first-of-its-kind provisions to prohibit unfair currency practices and reinforce exchange rate stability.
