Worse, he is officially a "celebrity", a word certain to swell his head, should he hear of it. But, no mistake: I am so listed on the Advocates for Self-Government website, and if you see something in writing on the Web, it is so. Reviewed in Locus. Last Guardian of Everness was reviewed by Damien Broderick in Locus Magazine, August 2004. Broderick says "Wright can approach true uncanny unease, fearful ugliness, and lucent beauty of a dream" and describes the tale as "by turns ingenious, absurd, disturbing, elevated, and even moving.
Reviewed in SF Signal. John DeNardo at SF Signal says the Last Guardian of Everness enjoys " Intriguing ideas; quick pacing; cool action scenes" and says "Wright's writing style is clear, descriptive, engrossing and sometimes lyrical."
