Donald Trump has just been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts in brokering a deal between Israel and the United Arabic Emirates.
Just weeks after helping to broker peace between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), President Trump has been nominated for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize.
The nomination submitted by Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament, lauded Trump for his efforts toward resolving protracted conflicts worldwide.
“For his merit, I think he has done more trying to create peace between nations than most other Peace Prize nominees,” Tybring-Gjedde, a four-term member of Parliament who also serves as chairman of the Norwegian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, told Fox News in an exclusive interview.
Had I been a betting man, I would have lost this bet.
There are many more nominations than awards, of course, and this is likely to go nowhere, but even for Mr. Trump to be nominated comes as a newsworthy shock and a surprise.
I honestly thought the Eurosocialists in charge of the goat-rodeo called the Nobel Prize would never again dare to nominate anyone for this award, not anyone who actually did anything the award was expressly designated to recognize. The public shame would be too great, not after awarding Barack “Bomber” Obama, Warmonger Extraordinaire, Don of Drone Strikes, Captain of Continuous Conflict, a Nobel Peace Prize for his victorious longstanding struggle of Getting a Participation Trophy while Black, that is, for being what the well-spoken Mr. Biden, his VP, called “…the first sort of mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a story-book, man…”
Of course, the presshounds immediately leapt up, clamoring. The headlines returned on the first page of a Google search on this topic read:

Please note how a mainstream politician is described in these headlines.
They would save a lot of ink in these publications if merely they reused the headline for all stories: “Orange Man Bad” followed by a subtitle showing why he is bad this day. Whether it directly contradicts the reason given for “Orange Man Bad” from yesterday will concern no one of the Left. Logic is not their strong suit.
