Harvard Senior Condemns Wokethink
I thought this worth sharing. The bravery of this young lady, considering her audience, is remarkable.
This is Julie Hartman, Harvard Class of 2022 (one of twelve students, each selected by the headmaster of his house) who delivered this commencement address on May 3, 2022, at the Harvard Chapel.
When she finished, she received no applause or recognition of appreciation. The silence, as the saying goes, was deafening.
Note the irony, since her opening anecdote reflected a similar silence from students visiting a foreign country when this nation was praised.
She repeated the speech later at her residential house. This is the video.
