If I seem to be not posting as regularly this week, I am on vacation, and do not have regular access to the Internet. Regularly scheduled screeds, jeremiads, and vituperations will resume the second week in August.

Posted August 2, 2023 By John C WrightCharity for Cancer Medicine
Posted July 20, 2023 By John C WrightI have a note from my friend David Marcoe, who asked me to post his plea to my blog. I am glad to help:
You might remember a few years back that my father had cancer and I started a GoFundMeto to raise money for his surgery.
Now his cancer is in stage four and I started another campaign (https://gofund.me/6e843c5b) to raise money for his anticancer meds while he gathers resources and arranges to come back to the States for radiation treatment.

Undeleted Comments
Posted May 20, 2023 By John C WrightI found a number of deleted comments in my spam filter, which I have returned to their place, since this may have been an accidental side effect of Lorenzo deleting his account. I am not sure he meant to delete all of them, because most contained no objectionable material at all, and one was an apology.
If Mr. Lorenzo wants to contact me and ask for some of his comments to be deleted, he should contact me by email, which is shown at the bottom of my home page.
Myself, I did not find the conversation convincing, but I do not think it was so worthless that it should be forgotten. I would prefer for emotions not to run so high, and for accusations of arguing in bad faith to be avoided. A bit of patience and forgiveness would be useful.

So if you have not read John’s crazy time travel story about a young woman who has forgotten where she left the memory eraser helmet or my tale of how Erasmus Prospero came to know Tristmagistis (a.k.a. the god Mercury), now you can!
