Fox and Big Brother

Posted November 30, 2017 By John C Wright

A must read:

https://pjmedia.com/trending/2017/10/06/youtuber-demonetized-just-hours-rush-limbaugh-mention/

On the same day that Rush Limbaugh read my recent column on air, YouTube — in the dead of night — demonetized a large percentage of videos on my channel. My YouTube channel has been around for years with many recordings of very boring village meetings highlighting local Chicago-area corruption. Recently, I started doing reaction videos and comedy and gained a bunch of new subscribers and it’s been fun. I don’t swear (certainly no “F” words) and there’s nothing really controversial unless you count making fun of gender-confused rabid leftists with blue hair “controversial.”

Yesterday, October 5, after Rush read my article on his show, I made a video that included my reaction to him talking about it on the air. It wasn’t up for three hours before my videos started getting the dreaded yellow dollar signs — which means YouTube just took away my ability to be paid for them. YouTube made sure that whatever bump in subscribers or views I got from Rush would not benefit me in any way.

YouTube has been going after politically conservative content creators for a long time. Paul Joseph Watson’s videos have largely been demonetized along with those of Trump-stumping sisters Diamond and Silk and other big-name conservative talkers. Diversity & Comics creator Richard Meyer has received two strikes against his account in the last week. One more will result in his account being deleted and his content lost forever.

Megan Fox is a PJ Media journalist who has had her articles appear on Drudge Report and referenced by Rush Limbaugh, one of the most important names in the news today. She’s been censored by BigTech, who have demonetized her videos, suspended her from accounts and tried to destroy her at every turn? Why? Because she tells the truth.

Our own Jon Del Arroz, Superversive author extraordinaire, will be interviewing her live Dec 5th at 11.30 pm at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1frJh6ibYg

Christ and Marx

Posted November 30, 2017 By John C Wright

Here is an article worth reading:

http://www.crisismagazine.com/2017/vatican-iis-unpublished-condemnations-communism

In recent weeks there have been a number of articles regarding the 100th anniversary of the launch of the Bolshevik Revolution—that is, the birthday of a bloodbath. In fact, here at the centenary of communism, the number “100” is fitting, given that 100 million is a good stab at the number of people annihilated by the Marxist-Leninist monstrosity the Bolsheviks sought to spread worldwide. (Actually, 100 million is probably a conservative estimate. The true number is likely closer to 140 million.)

From the very outset, no institution foresaw the scourge of atheistic communism like the Roman Catholic Church.

The Church’s scathing condemnation of communism preceded even The Communist Manifesto, the ridiculous piece of work Marx and Engels published in 1848 as the official programmatic statement of the communist movement. In 1846, Pope Pius IX released Qui pluribus, affirming that communism is “absolutely contrary to the natural law itself” and if adopted would “utterly destroy the rights, property, and possessions of all men, and even society itself.” In 1849, one year after the Manifesto was published, Pius IX issued the encyclical, Nostis Et Nobiscum, which referred to both socialism and communism as “wicked theories,” “perverted theories,” and “pernicious fictions.”

For the Church and its shepherds, this was just the start of a never-ending response to communism and its ugly step-sister, socialism.

and

1931 saw Pope Pius XI issue his seminal Quadragesimo Anno, which ought to be required reading in every parish religious education program. If you’re tired of hearing Sister Social Justice prattle on about the wonders of “democratic socialism,” hand her this document. Few passages in Quadragesimo Anno put it as bluntly as this one (section 120): “Religious socialism, Christian socialism, are contradictory terms; no one can be at the same time a good Catholic and a true socialist.”

To repeat: you can’t be a socialist and a good Catholic.

The Violence Inherent in Atheism

Posted November 30, 2017 By John C Wright

In which yours truly and the good Mr. Kolbe wax wroth. The sheer silliness and blindness of atheism is not harmless, and will not suffer its coming loss of prestige, power and influence in any calm or civilized way. The lamps are going out. Expect violence.

Thought for the Day

Posted November 28, 2017 By John C Wright

Conservativism is based on the axiom that Nietzsche, Hegel, Marx and even Darwin are wrong about the human condition: Men do not evolve, not in any way that matters.

We are are not about to evolve out of the need for categories of good and evil, or the need for the confessional booth, the marriage bed, the judges’s bench, or the hangmen scaffold, or any of the other instruments of our fallen nature requires lest the social order fail. The modern substitutes, such as the analyst’ couch, the laboratory bench, or the peoples’ gulag, allegedly able to take their place, have proved bloodier than what they replace. Nay, they are bloodier even than the barbarism an utter absence of social order would produce.

Barbarians may pray to false gods, but that is better than none. Wotan may demand a sacrificial victim to be hung upside on the sacred ash tree with his throat slit, but the rune-laws on his great spear Gungnir decree that adulterers and oath-breaker are punished in Nastrond. Socialists have killed far, far more people than Aztecs. Yet even Aztecs did not slay their own children in the womb in the name of convenience or female supremacy.  They did it to cow their slaves and enemies, and also to make the sun rise and the rain fall.

In the great scale of being, it seems the bloodthirstiest savages in history rate above some of our contemporaries.

Conan: The Scarlet Citadel

Posted November 27, 2017 By John C Wright

I am rereading Robert E Howard’s Conan yarns in publication order, and noting how they have improved with age. Often dismissed as a mere boyish adventure tales, adult eyes rereading these alleged boy’s stories will see depth to them.

Constitutionalism, Capitalism, and Christianity

Posted November 25, 2017 By John C Wright

Here are some of my thoughts about Thanksgiving. I am liberally plagiarizing myself from other articles I have written in the past on the topic, so if you see a paragraph you saw before elsewhere, that is why:

Thanksgiving is nearly a perfect holiday, since by rights it combines the awesome and uplifting act of humiliating oneself to God in thanks for the bounties and blessings poured onto this nation by Providence, with the tradition of gathering the family and clan together in a feast of sumptuous proportions, a feast meant to remind us of the wealth the hard work of our fathers created for us, and to remind us of the hard-won liberty and wise laws protecting our rights to enjoy that wealth and worship that God.

Thanksgiving sums up the three greatest blessings of America.

Our political system is a voluntary mutual compact of limited and equal government enshrining individual rights; our economic system is a free market protecting individual property; and our religious heritage is one of the liberty of the individual conscience, a principle found in only faith in the world.

The 3 Cs of America are Constitutionalism, Capitalism, and Christianity. At Thanksgiving, we give thanks for all three at once.

Darker than You Think

Posted November 22, 2017 By John C Wright

This is Sargon, also known as Carl Benjamin, liberal political commentator highly critical of the socialist social justice warriors infecting the left. Because he is honest and decent, he finds himself aiding and comforting the Conservative right more often than not.

This is a particularly egregious example of an SJW inquisition at work. Read the remainder of this entry »

Escaping Objectivism

Posted November 16, 2017 By John C Wright

My latest interview on Red Pill Religion. A lukewarm supporter of Ayn Rand (me) boldly defends her honor against the unmerciful attacks of Max Kolbe, the dread and dreaded basher of atheists, whom the elves call Alvalardagnir, the Bane of the Godless. Then I attacker her a bit myself. Sad when a powerful intellect goes awry.
